We always like to patronize the 'locals' in whatever town we happen to be in. Race Week – Day 1
Monday IS absolutely royal treatment for the CHAMPS!We made our way to downtown Akron by 7:30 a.m. to stand in line for Champ Check-in which started at 9:00. There really is no organization to the line.....just shear chaos with balls floating, buttons being traded and tons of t-shirts proudly showing winners names, cities and anything else important to these champs! We're here! Arrived safe and sound now getting ready for RACE week to begin tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. Once we arrived at the campground it wasn't 1/2 hour before someone came by and wanted to trade pins. Chase was ready - this one is actually a girl from Virginia (not far from us) who is 17 and a Rally Master Champ!Chase has 250 to trade - anyone want to guess how many he can get?
