It doesn’t seem that long ago that this happened – the release for Panhandle Portraits!

Yep! the interview was done and release signed. As our dear friend Katherine Cobb carried on, visiting many more people in the panhandle as she prepared to release her latest book, Panhandle Portraits.

Ronnie has never been one to want to be recognized for any role he has played in the county with our youth and community. As a matter of fact, he really hasn’t realized the impact his work has made. Thus he was surprised when he received the call about talking with Katherine. Wow – this is really cool. Baseball. Cub Scouts. Boy Scouts. 4H. Soap Box Derby. (you get the point). Many hats have been worn by him and it is all explained in her book.
I was excited to see/listen to the interview. You can too if you missed it, just click HERE.
Of course don’t miss out on purchasing your copy and learning about the many individuals she interviewed that are right in our panhandle. You can have it in a few days by clicking HERE. (or on the book above). There are two volumes so be sure to pick up both. Ronnie is in Volume 2.
I read Katherine’s previous book, Skyline Higher –
and wasn’t disappointed. It is not typically a book I would read but given the author, I felt compelled to do so. I found it very interesting and fitting for the times we are in now. It’s a pretty quick read that keeps your attention. Give it a try!
Of course a special shout out to Katherine – she keeps our community up to speed with her column in The Journal – you can read more about her by clicking here.

Be sure to leave a review on any of the books you read. She loves the feedback =)
