I love to try new things. I love trends. I love clothes and jewelry. So when I kept hearing such good things about Stitch Fix, I had to try it.

I mean who wouldn’t want to have a box on your door step with all kinds of things someone else picked out for you? So I did it. I logged on. Created an account. Filled out my profile. Paid the $20 deposit. And waited for the notification that my Stitch Fix had shipped. Easy Peasey, Lemon Squeezey.
And the day came. The box arrived –

All wrapped up nice and neat.
And inside? A necklace. A pair of pants. Two shirts. A black vest. Ok, not too bad. But nothing stood out or made me go “Oh my gosh! I LOVE this”. Know what I mean?

Inside was also some ‘cards’ which gave ideas for each piece.

And the itemized statement. Whew! nearly $200 for this box. Wow. I’m sure for some that’s not unusual but I’m a TJMAX, Marshall’s, Ross (even Kohls) kind of girl. Hmmm. And nothing really matched. Honestly, the quality/feel just didn’t match the price tag. Each to her own.
Without doubt, I followed the instructions –

And this little package was ready to be returned.

Remember….I said this was strictly MY opinion. I am positive some love this idea and love what they get. But for me, I’ll just stick to stopping by my favs and catching things a little bit cheaper and the advantage of picking’ out my own stuff. Anyone else try Stitch Fix?
