Absolutely NOT ME! Monday

I have finally decided to take a stab at the “not me!” Monday carnival hosted by MckMama. This week I took note of some things I did that seemed pretty normal until I really thought about them, LOL. Let’s see how they rate with some of the other bloggers?!

Not me, I didn’t scale the wall down the whole hall just so my cat wouldn’t attack me! Nope, not me.

I also didn’t pour coffee creamer in my son’s morning milk glass after I looked in the refrigerator and saw we were out of milk. When I looked at his glass a little later, I wondered where the milk came from. Suddenly it hit me! Luckily it wasn’t too late. NOPE, not me!

I also didn’t go back through the drive-thru at Chick-fil-a to avoid a cop sitting at the other end because my tags are dead (and have been for a whole month). Definitely not me!

It was’t me that thought 5 Below was a store that sold coats, gloves and other outer wear for winter. Absolutely not me!

I didn’t have my two girls make a special trip to the store to pick up a cake mix and icing for a last minute cake I needed that night only to discover it on the counter after all the guests had gone home! I certainly wouldn’t do that, ha!

It wasn’t me that burned a frozen pizza to the degree that not even the dog would sniff it then put another in only to discover after it was done that the cardboard was still on. Nope, wouldn’t think of doing something like that!

This is one that has stuck with me for over ten years and I still get reminded: It was NOT me that argued with another department at work stating that the notes on the loan said Noone reviewed the final docs prior to closing. Because Noone reviewed, their team would have to take the loss for the closing error!! No question!! Oops, it was really NO ONE….someone forgot to put the space in there.

So, I guess when I sit back and put it all in perspective, my life really does present lots of little ‘NOT ME’s that I can share!
