Favorite vacation spots…

Wow, this one is difficult and I have to pick the top three (sorry I couldn’t narrow it down). So, here goes:

We just came back from the beautiful Virgin Islands, specifically St. John. My husband and I took our first trip there in 2005 for our 13th wedding anniversary. He doesn’t like the #13 so I decided to book a fabulous trip which would hopefully give him a new perspective on what he considered an “unlucky” number. It worked! since then we have visited the island every other year and this year took the whole family. It was a blast!

Another fav spot for us is Disney World in sunny Florida – since we have an RV, we stay at the Fort Wilderness Campground. It provides all the ammenities as the other Disney resorts and is loved by our family. We spend a lot of time simply ‘at the campground’. There are so many activities to keep us busy. We can take the boat over to Magic Kingdom and board the monorail to continue to other resorts. Very convenient!!

I can’t forget ‘the beach house’ in Ocean City, Maryland. My parents purchased their first home there in the early 80’s with their most recent being in 1998 which is on the bay side. We have been fortunate enough to be able to dock our jet skis there and spend countless hours on their pontoon boat. My sister’s in-laws also have a home in the same development which allows us to ‘all’ get together often. We feel very fortunate and blessed! We can go for full week trips or just weekends without notice (so convenient).
